I began my employment under the title Housing Counselor but taking on a new challenge led to my current role as the Project Based Voucher Coordinator for Fort Worth Housing Solutions. I identified that the Fort Worth Housing Solutions PBV program was not operating in accordance with HUD guidelines and proposed the PBV Coordinator position to Executive Staff, which the agency implemented January 1, 2019. I worked directly with the Vice President to develop the agencies overall PBV Housing program current standard of operations, servicing procedures, and policies for PBV management. I positioned the program into compliance by performing Executive level duties. I was responsible for creating the Standard of Operations (SOP), performing management oversight, delegated operations task and set performance goals for the internal PBV team. I Introduced the concept of, developed the material, and led the implementation of the first online procedures training Managing Project Based Voucher units for property Management Agents, I won awards for creating and the content of the PBV training.
