My work as an executive leadership & career coach, gender equity advisor, and keynote speaker is centered on addressing the issues that affect women in work. I partner with my clients – professional women and organizations – to show up professionally in alignment with who they authentically are, and to create the work structures that foster better equality & inclusion.I am passionate about this work given that the effects of the status quo are devastating. As a society, we experience tremendous losses in unrealized leadership, knowledge, and innovation potential when women do not achieve their highest professional capacity. As company leaders, we forego lifts in performance, employee engagement, and innovation outcomes when we fail to implement inclusive cultures; cultures where women have equal access to opportunities and are able to engage authentically in work that amplifies their greatest talents.Prior to doing this work, I spent 25 years climbing the corporate ladder and eventually reaching the C-Suite. I developed first-hand experience along the way with how the cards are stacked against women, and now guide my clients in navigating such environments to create their own paths to successful outcomes.The work I do drives:- Culture change by revealing and addressing the dynamics that create steeper paths to career advancement for women, including the workplace norms, leadership behaviors, and HR processes that result in inequitable outcomes.- Leadership development by coaching high potential women to develop the skills needed to ascend within the company ranks, from entry-level leadership to the C-Suite. Includes developing the communication, networking, professional branding, visibility, confidence, and executive presence skills that allow women to reach their potential.- Career change by guiding women who seek more meaning from their work to identify a career path that aligns with their strengths and life goals, build a career narrative that makes them compelling to potential employers, and develop a strategy to execute a successful job search.As an MBA and former C-Suite leader, I've built the business expertise to consult with clients looking to change the organizational dynamics that hinder equity. As a cultural anthropologist, I help clients navigate and shift the systems that create obstacles to inclusion. As a career coach, I work with women to develop the skills and mindsets that foster their career growth.
