From what started as a work experience placement soon progressed into part time employment as a Veterinary Nursing Assistant. This progress displays my general capability in the veterinary profession as well as my ability to integrate into and work as part of a team while using my own initiative in a pressured environment. • Preparation of laboratory samples, in-house laboratory procedures including urinalysis, care of inpatients, administration of medication, animal restraint, reception duties and conversing with clients.• This role has given me a huge understanding of veterinary medicine and animal science.• Required to have an excellent telephone manner, outstanding interpretation skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure all tasks are completed to an extremely competent level.
