Account Manager
CurrentI am currently an Account Manager for Original 106 at DC Thomson Media. Apart of the marketing and advertising team in a B2B sales environment, I am responsible for generating revenue and creating bespoke advertising campaigns to suit my clients budget and needs. Duties include:• Ensuring client satisfaction and building relationships with my clients• Using smart and efficient planning to manage my client portfolio• Achieving monthly and quarterly targets and KPI’s, actively seeking new business to gain revenue, and meeting clients needs to ensure long-term spend and business retention, upselling where appropriate• Scheduling and attending meetings face-to-face or over calls, networking on a daily basis• Building proposals and contracts, ensuring sales and booking procedures are strictly adhered to• Work towards deadlines to ensure commercial productions are finalised and on air in time and liaising with Creative team• Reporting to my Sales Manager on a daily/weekly basis with my revenue report and business plan• Keeping up-to-date with current market trends and climate so I can advise the best product to clients in a more personal and knowledgeable fashion• Confident use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Aquira
