Managing visual merchandising for two stores within Gatwick Airport (North and South Terminal). My role consisted of carrying out company guidelines and standards to market products in the best standard whilst also using my creative flair to add an extra spark to displays and mannequins. In addition to this role I also held a supervisory key holding position which has helped me to develop my management style and skills, cashing up, opening and closing the stores and banking takings whilst also supervising staff and liasing with management.

Working as an assistant producer at Ideal World Shopping Television included assisting the producer in the gallery during live shows, answering emails and telephone calls. I was also involved in preparing the live shows, organising paperwork and greeting guests and visitors. In addition to this I carried out set dressing duties to further my knowledge of visual merchandising. This included: - Dressing the sets to company standard and marketing them to maximise sales- Outfit building for models on live fashion shows whist liaising with the producer- Subtly dressing the set with a seasonal aspect in mind whist keeping the main emphasis on the products.

As well as customer service, visual merchandising was part of my main role. This consisted of changing display mannequins whist ensuring current trends and products are always available for customers to view. Also I had to attend to customers, giving them individual personalised service and advice. I was involved in banking at the end of each day, counting daily takings and filing paperwork with the managers. Additionally I was entrusted with supervising the deliveries and the stockroom.
