My responsibilities as a Supervisor at Plow and Hearth consisted of visual merchandising, delegation, time management, customer service, product knowledge, and store procedures such as keeping track of merchandise, sales numbers/budgets and opening/closing the store. In addition to the typical duties of a Supervisor at Plow and Hearth, I have also been recently working with the company to help to open two new store locations. My responsibilities for opening new store locations included redesigning a new cash wrap for each store, in which the drawings were approved and used in construction. Since both store locations were different in design, I had to sketch on site and survey to help with the new designs. I also worked with the architect to survey both sites. When construction was complete, I was a part of the team to build fixtures on site and helped to run the visual merchandising of the store for opening.

My responsibilities as a Kitchen Designer at All Stone and Tile, aside from Kitchen design, consisted time management, customer service, product knowledge, and store procedures such as sales numbers/budgets and opening/closing procedures. At All Stone and Tile, I not only designed kitchens, but I also learned a lot about kitchen counter top materials and the fabrication of those tops, tile, tile design, and tile setting materials. All Stone and Tile is a fabrication shop for stone (both natural and man made) and all fabrication is done in house. I would work with clients to pick out their ideal counter top, set up a template on the full slab of material, and have the client see what they were getting. I would then take them into the show room and help them pick the perfect back splash and floor tile to compliment the piece of counter top. Aside from Kitchen Design, I also worked with clients for their bathroom designs. I've learned a variety of different materials to be used in bathrooms such as basics in shower systems, the setting materials used, what size tile is best to use, etc.Some companies I worked directly with while working at All Stone and Tile were Laticrete (setting materials), Arley, Dal Tile, Island Stone, Schluter, OHM, AKDO, Fabuwood Cabinetry, Fieldstone Cabinetry, amongst others.

My responsibilities as a Kitchen Designer at Just Cabinets, aside from Kitchen design, consisted of visual merchandising, time management, customer service, product knowledge, and store procedures such as keeping track of merchandise and sales numbers/budgets.While working at Just Cabinets, I learned the design program 2020, which helped me to not only show clients their kitchen in a layout, but I was also able to render a view of their kitchen. Not only did I design and sell kitchens, but I also worked with clients to complete their homes from the kitchen, to the dining room, living room, bedroom, office and more!
