So, GET DEPOSED™ was developed to ensure that every deponent who becomes GET DEPOSED™ certified is intellectually, emotionally, and physically prepared to sit in the hot seat the day of their deposition. For attorneys, GET DEPOSED™ allows you to free up at least ten billable hours; is a pass-through litigation cost; and provides a thorough and comprehensive depo preparation. GET DEPOSED™ tests your client’s knowledge of who, when, where, how and why their deposition is being taken. Explains what to say and what not to say. Provides regular email reminders to your client of their requirements to complete the program and obtain their certification prior to the date of their deposition. Provides attorneys Realtime status of your client’s progress and an objective analysis of their client's knowledge of the deposition process and their abilities to successfully testify. HOW DOES GET DEPOSED™ WORK:GET DEPOSED™ is a multi-level course program with videos, text, examinations and Realtime attorney access. Each examination must be passed before moving on to the next course level. This ensures that the individual, client, i.e. future deponent, has learned the information contained within the course before moving forward to the next course. There is a notes section that can be utilized to make contemporaneous notes for recall, clarification and better understanding or for future discussion with an attorney. Access is for one year. This allows client or the attorney one year from date of log to review the program, client's notes and review missed exam questions for further instructions.

EXPERIENCEIn February, 2014 solo tried and received a $5 million jury verdict on a class action, which comprised two classes (over nine thousand class members) against the State of Alabama. In 2011 and 2012, my firm assisted in Compucredit class action that was heard by the U.S. Supreme Court. In 2007 and 2009, my firm assisted in a class action against the Jefferson County and Shelby County Tax Collector resulting in the recovery of more than $30 million dollars for the plaintiff classes. Additionally, my firm has worked on asbestos, vaginal mesh sling and Actos litigations.Prior to obtaining my law degree, I worked as a paralegal from 1987-2000 on more than fifty class actions and MDL’s (Amtrak, CSX, Winn Dixie, Cracker Barrell, UFI). From 2000-2001, I clerked at Whatley Drake, LLC, where I worked on the Firestone and Ford roll over class actions. In 2004, I established my own firm, Meelheim & Dodson, LLC, and in 2005 changed the name of the firm to the Law Offices of Kimberly Dodson, LLC.
