It's said that if you want to get something done, ask a busy person. I say if you want to get something done, ask a mom. After spending 17 years in the classroom utilizing skills such as planning, organizing, teaching, record keeping, and classroom management, I left to take time out to care for my children. After being out of the workforce for a year, I decided to return to college to earn another degree and pursue a new career in the area of finance . For the past 6 years, I have been juggling the life of a mom and student. I have been further honing my skills in planning, organizing, budgeting and time management while learning new skills such as financial statement analysis and accounting. I haven't just survived or barely gotten by but I have thrived and earned a 3.8 gpa while doing so. Having earned my Bachelor of Business Administration, I am now ready to put my skills to work in the corporate world.
