This summer I had the opportunity to intern on the U.S. military base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, with Camp Adventure Youth Services. I worked with people who have different backgrounds then I do and gain leadership skills, as well as an insight on what is out there other than what I am used to. Overall I had the experience of a lifetime and learned a lot about the children who come from military families as well as the hard worker that I am.
