I'm a registered nurse that has specialized in behavioral health throughout my entire career. My skill set is diverse, ranging from practicing as a psychiatric staff nurse, in administration/management and within hospital/managed care Medicare/Medicaid. I have experience in various settings that include home health, long-term, acute, emergency and in non-direct care settings. I have worked with all developmental stages from childhood through the aging population including those with severe mental illness, chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, Alzheimer's disease, intellectual disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders and with complex comorbidities. I have a passion for mental health and for teaching with experience in staff education/development/recruitment, performance evaluation/disciplinary action plans, clinical auditing/research, compliance monitoring, risk management, maintaining quality measures and procedure/policy training and development.
