As a passionate advocate for student success, I have dedicated my career to transforming community colleges and enhancing educational opportunities for all students. I am honored to serve as the Executive Director of the Texas Success Center and Vice President of the Texas Association of Community Colleges (TACC). In this role, I lead statewide initiatives that empower community colleges to innovate, collaborate, and drive student success at scale.My journey in higher education began as a first-generation community college graduate, and this experience has fueled my commitment to ensuring that every student has access to a quality education and the support needed to achieve their goals. Throughout my career, I have held leadership positions at the Aspen Institute, Lone Star College, Houston Community College, and Eastfield College, where I led transformative programs and initiatives that have made a lasting impact on students and institutions alike.At the Texas Success Center, I am focused on expanding our Talent Strong Texas Pathways initiative, supporting the implementation of House Bill 8, and strengthening workforce alignment across the state. By working closely with community college leaders, industry partners, and policymakers, I aim to enhance the role of Texas community colleges on the national stage and ensure that they remain a vital engine of economic and social mobility.In addition to my leadership roles, I am a certified executive coach and a graduate of the Black Executive Leadership Program by McKinsey & Company. My passion for leadership extends beyond my organizational roles—I am a published author, speaker, and the Principal Consultant of C.L.A.S.S.
