The Director of Community College Leadership is responsible for developing strategy and driving the high-quality execution of initiatives related to community college leadership development. As a member of the CEP senior leadership team and in-house executive coach expert, the Director contributes to overall program strategy, support staff and organizational development, and fosters collaboration and cross-initiative learning within the program. Responsible for the vision, design and implementation of our approach to executive coaching for Presidential Fellows and and others engaged in delivery of leadership curriculum. Contribute to strategy and execution of state-based community college leadership development efforts related to presidents, trustees, and institutional leadership teams. Develop, manage expenditures against, and report on detailed project budgets. Oversee the analysis, synthesis, and preparation of evaluation reports, data reports, and visual presentations. Collaborate and develop relationships with partners and other stakeholders in the field with a focus on outcomes and quality.

Reporting to the President, the Vice President of Student Services and Instruction is responsible for the operation of instruction and student services and serves as both the Chief Academic Officer (CAO) and Senior Student Services Officer (SSAO) for the campus, overseeing instructional departments, student support/services, and other units as assigned by the campus president. The CAO is responsible for student learning, quality of instruction, data informed decision making, and the pursuit of academic excellence and integrity at the campus and center locations

Reporting to the Vice Chancellor of Student Services, the Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) for Student Engagement and Success administers key Student Services programs, coordinates and oversees student support services including Advisement, Counseling services, Career, and Job Placement services, Orientation, Transfer services, Student Life, Recreational Sports, Training Academy and Code of Conduct. Responsible for divisional budget, supervision of 5 District Directors and leadership and support to all Student Service Deans, Associate Deans, Functional Areas Mangers and Recreational Sport Specialist. Areas of responsibility include: Evaluating and assessing programs and services to produce outcomes that align with strategic priorities. Assisting the Vice Chancellor of Student Services in the development, management and implementation of Houston Community College’s student engagement, retention and student support services programs; providing administrative supervision and leadership for Student Support Services, retention programs and grant-funded programs within Student Services; assisting the Vice Chancellor for Student Services in strategic planning, grant writing and researching funding opportunities. Providing leadership in collecting and analyzing student support services data.Keeping the Vice Chancellor of Student Services fully informed on emerging issues and brief the Executive Cabinet on all matters that have the potential for significantly affecting the College and surrounding communities. Developing and monitoring assigned program budgets; Participating in program planning, analysis and review; Conduct research, gather data and prepare reports on program activities in collaboration with the Office of Institutional Research, Planning and Assessment; Oversee campus student activities programs.

Eastfield College

Provides leadership and administrative direction to a comprehensive division of Student Services and Enrollment. Monitors and evaluates programmatic and operational effectiveness and effects changes required for continuous improvement. Collaborates with Institutional Research to develop student success data and reports summarizing area activity and indicators such as student learning outcomes, student tracking and student enrollment. Works with other administrators to ensure coordination of college-wide efforts to meet the goals of the college. Supports district initiatives designed to track student cohorts in both short-term and longitudinal studies of academic progress.
