Provide freelance administrative and marketing services. Transitioned this international not-for-profit organization that provides support for a rare genetic disorder from an all-volunteer organization to one with a small staff. Designed new donation and membership database in Microsoft Access capable of supporting membership increase from 200 to more than 1,000 families and donor increase to 6,000. Created numerous multi-platform international fundraising campaigns, which significantly contributed to an increase in fundraising from $80,000 to more than $350,000 per year. Handled all facets of the campaigns – concept, design, implementation, processing and follow-up. Created nation-wide awareness walk, which had five sites and raised more than $60,000 in 2015 and had eight sites and raised more than $80,000 in 2016. Responsible for analyzing genetic reports, writing grants, copy editing, creating annual reports, educating families, accounting tasks and approving memberships to the Alliance. Also processed donations, edited newsletters, and handled day-to-day administrative tasks. Organized several multi-day conferences throughout the United States for both family members and the scientific community. Created and maintained the Alliance’s website. Lead development of new website format in 2014, which won a GDUSA design award. Supervised many volunteers and part-time employees.
