I had the privilege of working under Senior Researcher Ashley Mills. I spent my time at the Commission learning about several projects including their work educating the public about seeking criminal justice for incarcerated individuals with mental health needs and system disparities among diverse communities. I directed a project creating contract fact.

I worked independently with fellow students, guiding them through the class enrollment process. I answered general questions about the Psychology Department, constructed personal academic plans, worked one on one with students while deescalating their stress, and provided resources to lead them through planning out their four-year schedules.

I was a part of this organization for two years. It is a student-led collective with an interdisciplinary focus on the inner-workings of human consciousness with a class taught in the Winter. As a mentor, I was able to collaborate with fellow mentors to create the syllabus, direct the class, and invite educators to share their knowledge with the class for.
