● Answer incoming and outgoing phone calls● Greet and Direct Patients● Maintain appointment schedule and all logs● Obtain required documentations from patients● Enter and update patient information into electronic medical records systems● Produce correspondence, reports, and other requested data● Perform routine office Operations (Photocopying, faxing, filing, mailing, email)● Process health insurance authorizations and medical insurance claim forms● Ensure all related labs, reports and information is in patient files prior to appointment and after ● Maintain effective and organized patient flow● Maintained HIPPA when creating/using document● Assist physician during patient examination and prepare sterilization● Keep examination rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies and maintain instruments● Take patient medical history and prepare patient for examination● Collect and prepare lab specimens and perform routine urinalysis, pregnancy test, rapid HIV test, Covid rapid test, Flu rapid test, Streptococcus test, mononucleosis rapid testing. ● Prepare medications for administration● Take and record patient vital signs● Conduct Vision/hearing test● Perform EKG/Phlebotomy including butterfly and finger sticks
