Manager on Federal ARRA task order funded through Department of Health and Human Services (Office of Head Start and Office of Child Care) to promote development of partnerships between Early Head Start and family child care programs. Provided ongoing support and professional development to a cadre of consultants supporting urban, rural, Tribal, and Migrant & Seasonal Early Head Start programs in their partnerships with family child care and Tribal child care. Collaborated in development of logic model, framework, and evaluation. Provided leadership in work plan development, implementation, evaluation, and day-to-day management of curriculum, training, and budget for $19.5M grant from Department of Health and Human Services. Coordinated collaborations with an Advisory Committee of 20 national experts in family literacy for curriculum input and development. Assisted with preparation of reports to Federal Project Officer, Funding Agency, and Congress on status of project objectives and annual budget. Supervised and coordinated nine multi-state training conferences. Developed training curriculum on family literacy and early childhood literacy for caregivers, parents, and supervisors in Head Start and Early Head Start programs. Collaborated with contracted Project Evaluator to develop evaluation plan and oversee implementation and reporting of evaluation activities.

Provided project coordination for $4.5M grant from US Department of Education. Organized and maintained matching funds documentation for $2.27M in indirect and in-kind donations. Coordinated dissemination, collection, and management of research data from training and control group participants. Co-wrote early childhood educator early literacy curricula for training events. Supervised and trained 25 “Learning Coach” consultants. Developed content and format for online learning activities. Collaborated in development of grant proposals, funding requests, and case statements to support publication and continued use of resources. Facilitated semi-annual Advisory Committee and Writing Committee groups of national experts in early childhood and literacy.

Provided Training and Technical Assistance through the American Indian/Alaska Native Disabilities Services Quality Improvement Center grant funded by the Office of Head Start. Worked with American Indian and Alaska Native Early Head Start programs on inclusion of infants and toddlers with disabilities.
