About Kimberly Byrd

Kimberly Byrd is a distinguished and veteran educator and speaker with over 15 years of experience in urban education from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She earned a B.A in Criminal Justice and English with a minor in African American Studies. In addition, she earned a certification to teach English and Language Arts in grades 6th through 12th from Temple University and a Masters in Public Relations and Marketing from Full Sail University. After completion, she continued her passion for learning at Lehigh University in the Urban Principals’ Academy where she earned a Masters in Educational Leadership, as well as, a certification in K-12 School Leadership. Throughout her career, she has accomplished certifications in Trauma-Informed Practice and Restorative Practice.
