I promote a holistic approach of well-being by educating employees on the importance of physical, financial, emotional and social well-being. Of the four areas, I am primarily responsible for enhancing employee experience with financial well-being tools and resources. In addition to my focus on communications, I also perform project management roles for various activities within Total Rewards. Specific Accomplishments/Initiatives:» Plan and coordinate retirement workshops for employees in Kansas, Oklahoma, & Texas. Host half-day workshops and partner with multiple vendors to discuss pension, creating income in retirement through 401(k) and IRA accounts, retiree health care, and the importance of having a plan for well-being in retirement. Employees have reported high satisfaction scores for both in-person workshops and virtual workshops the last 5 years.» Implemented SmartDollar, a money management program created by Dave Ramsey. In the first year of the program, our company was awarded a Smarty Award for our Vision and implementation success. Since then, we have reached or exceeded our participation goals each year. Continue to manage this vendor relationship with monthly calls and have provided ideas to enhance employee engagement with the program. » Provide an overview of all the Total Rewards available to employees in new hire orientations on a monthly basis. It is a joy to demonstrate ways employees & their dependents can support their holistic well-being goals with the benefits available.» Review and edit plan document for health & welfare and retirement plan benefits. Work directly with ERISA attorneys to research and confirm administration related questions for plan document language and compliance.
