I am a philanthropist, Asian adoptee, mental health and suicide prevention advocate, and social impact leader🌟As a junior undergraduate student pursuing a double major in philanthropic studies at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and finance at the Kelley School of Business, my focus has always been on creating meaningful societal impact. My passion for making a positive difference fuels my self-motivation, driving me to contribute not only to the lives of those around me but also to the broader community. I am proactive in seeking out opportunities both on campus and within the community, consistently taking initiative to expand my skills and experiences.I am deeply committed to driving systemic change that creates equitable opportunities, particularly for marginalized communities, and ensuring mental health resources are accessible to all. In 2021, I fundraised for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and continued my efforts with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in 2022 and 2023 after the loss of two close loved ones to suicide. I have run the Chicago Marathon three times in their honor and remain dedicated to increasing access to mental health resources and breaking the stigma surrounding mental illness.Looking ahead, I am eager to continue developing my skills and contributing to impactful projects that drive meaningful change.
