As a member of the Marine Hotel Supply Chain Buyer/Purchasing team at Holand America, I coordinated the procurement of all supplies to three company Vessels. Within my time as a buyer, I was responsible for successfully supplying my vessel homeport cities, outports, and Dry- Docks. Supplying requisitions by establishing contracts and competitive bidding. I was responsible for sending purchase orders and documents to the vessels with adequate time for ship arrival and departure dates. Ensuring all guests had what they needed for safe and reliable travel on the sea. My tasks also included investigating order discrepancies, maintaining vendor files, and voyage files with purchase orders.
