I am an Aquatic Ecologist at WSP in Canada with primary interests in fisheries conservation and management, habitat protection and restoration and environmental monitoring. I am involved in a variety of public and private sector projects focusing on natural heritage and environmental management, with an emphasis on fish and aquatic habitat. I am experienced in ecological study design, leading field programs and completing environmental assessments. My role also includes legislative approval processes, such as Conservation Authority permitting, Species at Risk approval processes, and review and authorization under the Fisheries Act. In addition, I am a Certified Inspector of Sediment and Erosion Control (CAN-CISEC) to ensure the protection of fish and fish habitat from construction-related impacts.
