Her work includes managing design and construction for airfield projects, including new and rehabilitated pavements, airfield lighting, signage, navigational aids, airfield utilities, site drainage, land use compatibility and airspace analysis. Additionally, Kimberly manages grant administration for her clients including grant reimbursements and federal reporting requirements, and project scope, estimate and budget development. Prior to becoming an engineer, Kimberly served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy.

Served as an Unrestricted Line Officer in Surface Warfare Officer community. My first tour of duty was serving on board the USS Chosin (CG 65) in the Combat Systems Department as the Under Sea Warfare Officer. My second tour of duty was serving on board the USS Crommelin (FFG 37) in the Engineering Department as the Auxiliaries Officer in which I supervised personnel in operation, maintenance and repair of the ship's auxiliary engineering plant and quality of life systems, including making of fresh water, electrical generation, refrigeration plants, and various hydraulic equipment. During this tour, I also took on the role of Ship's Materials and Maintenance Officer coordinating ship's maintenance across 5 departments and several contracted repair facilities including the US Naval Shipyard and Civilian Contractors.
