I transferred to the hotel 3 months prior to opening. I planned, directed and implemented all phases of the human resources pre-opening process, including the hiring process; planned and hosted a three day job fair where we hired all hotel staff in three days; developed the non-exempt compensation scale; developed and wrote hotel policies; worked closely with the seven member Executive Committee to plan and execute a successful hotel opening.
