As a self-starter, I lead all aspects of UX/UI design; from new project designs to optimizations for current projects. Driven by user stories, user feedback, and business goals, I efficiently work with product owners and bioinformaticians to synthesize requirements into user scenarios, user flows, wireframes, high fidelity mockups, and UI kits.Working in an agile environment allows me to prioritize important features; however, I always consider the big picture and how a feature will affect the users and the product as a whole. As part of the Informatics Web Development team, I designed websites, genomic sequencing reporting tools, forms engines, health survey systems, and data portals. My designs helped researchers connect, collaborate, and work more efficiently; enabling them to take on more important research challenges.
