WBL’s mission is to connect and convene senior executive women in health care to create meaningful cross-sector relationships, advance their careers, and harness their collective power to improve the industry.

Responsible for representing and advocating CoverMyMeds interest to public policy groups, state and federal legislatures, state agencies, industry and trade groups and related staff and advisors; Provide subject matter expertise on healthcare policy and healthcare IT issues; Develop and present legislative public policy that can positively impact patients access to affordable healthcare; Research, monitor, identify, evaluate and analyze the impact of legislative and regulatory issues; Engage positively in and with trade groups/stakeholders including state health plan associations, state medical associations, state medical society associations and related Medicare and Medicaid agencies and their vendors; provide expertise and guidance to customers and other stakeholders on compliance and regulatory issues.

Successfully cultivated new markets and expanded the NCPDP database customer base; resulting in additional revenue, expansion of use of our products by government law enforcement and regulators;Developed and presented customer specific demonstrations and benefit-driven presentations, resulting in year-over-year increased revenues of more than 11% and realized a 98% customer retention rate;Proactively engaged with government entities (CMS), industry regulators and key legislative team members to identify regulatory and legislative initiatives impacting our customers; Collaborated in all phases of strategic business planning with other senior-level management; establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.Developed relationships with various industry and trade relationship organizations and participation in tradeshows and conferences, to include but not limited to, NACDS, PBMI, IAIABC, Cardinal, McKesson and NCPA

Subject matter expert related to claims processing, billing, reimbursement, submission and resubmission for all states;Established company-wide compliance policies and standards (healthcare billing, Red Flag, HIPAA and HITECH);Development of industry, regulatory and legislative relationships nationwide and the creation and presentation of written and oral testimony in over ten (10) states resulting in positively impacting regulatory passage – savings to the company – in one state - $12 million Produced all compliance related communications and training resulting in enterprise knowledge and adherence to applicable state and federal laws and regulations;Prepare monthly reporting for both internal and external client use in measuring compliance outcomes increasing client satisfaction and retention;Performed periodic audit and analysis, identifying opportunities for operational improvements.
