Interim Executive Director: Paul’s Place Outreach Center- Led Board of Directors through a strategic planning process, revised organizational structure and administrative systems and personnel and volunteer policies while managing day-to-day operations of youth and adult poverty programs, including staff, volunteers, partnerships, financial oversight, and community outreach due to absence of an Executive Director. Development: Fundraised $350,000 for a capital campaign and $500,000 in programming for workforce, public safety, commercial development, and youth art programs. Rose unrestricted funding for Access Art, a community-based youth art program. Services included grant writing, direct solicitation, corporate giving, and leveraging partnerships. Worked with Access Art to formalize a sustainability plan for the program.Project Management for various nonprofit organizations including Luthern World Relief.

Outreach Baltimore City families resulting in a six-fold increase in applications to City Neighbors schools. Management of large scale events including the annual Progressive Education Summit with 500 attendees and over 40 presenters with local and national presence in the education field.

Management of regional culturally competent wraparound program. Annually serving over 140 youth with mental health disorders and their families referred through State and local child serving agencies. Established provider network with over 100 diverse mental health programs and agencies to support families and children’s choices to achieve mental health goals.Over 90% of youth served were successfully maintained in home or less restricted environments after returning or being diverted from residential treatment centers, hospitalization or incarceration. Management of budget and services exceeding $2.5 million.Served on Local Management Boards, Dept of Health LTC Waiver Committee.Supervised a staff of 20 social workers and clinicians.

Developed grant program criteria, application, reporting, and monitoring process for complex federal and state grants that totaled over $2 million annually. Responsible for crime prevention, youth, and neighborhood revitalization grants distributed to 35 community associations, nonprofit organizations, and city agencies. Provided technical assistance to nonprofit grantees and communities. Oversaw development of six hotspot community plans and implementation.

Responsible for growth from $100,000 to over $1 million annually within two years to grow community development and social programs. Creation and management of Main Street, youth and adult workforce, substance abuse, public safety, economic development, and physical development programs. Built a team of 37 multi-disciplined staff and in-kind personnel from partners including the University of Maryland schools of Law and Social Work. Public safety program declared a Department of Justice national model and workforce/substance program highlighted by Department of Health and Human Services as a model of best practices
