I got my start moderating chatrooms. At the time the internet was new frontier, and I was a bit of a social media wrangler, making sure people adhere to the TOS to keep the chat a safe and fun environment.A few years later I began contracting remotely with DealBase. I was responsible for researching travel deals for the website with a team of editors and became team lead. This involved guiding the team to complete new projects on time for the clients. I spent nearly 11 years with this team of professionals. Sadly, my team was phased out as the company took a new direction. But I will always value the experience and count myself fortunate to have worked with the company and their clients.These days I am back to my roots as a moderator of sorts. This time my role involves identifying bad actors on various forms of social media and helping brands protect their reputation and be alert of security risks. Once again, I am working remotely with a global team and a variety of clients. I have enjoyed watching the internet continue to expand into new areas.Any company that works with me can expect professionalism, dedication and a high attention to detail. I enjoy learning and love experiencing the ever-changing internet and the people who contribute to it.
