Kim is an award-winning Director and Photographer specializing in children, families and seniors. Her background as an Art Director helps her see beyond just the shots to tell the story. She’s comfortable leading a full crew on set or concepting, shooting and editing projects from start to finish with a small crew (and sometimes just her and her dog). She's able to collaborate with a creative team, support and guide clients creatively, capture stills, as well as video for tv, creative content and paid social.Kim’s recent work spans direction, photography and creative direction for REI, YoBaby, Hasbro, local non-profits, and more. She shot and collaborated on the book, “We Garden Together”, which went on sale last year. And also released her first short film in 2023, “The Bee” — an award-winning doc she produced, wrote, shot and edited, which is winning accolades in film festivals across the country. She’s currently editing the next film in the series, The Seed, with The Root beginning production next Spring. Kim also sits on the Board for CitySprouts, where she led the ideation and creation of their overarching creative platform “Grow”.
