With 20 years of administrative, retail, hospitality, healthcare and customer service experience, I am capable of troubleshooting any challenging situation with professional poise. As part of my personal mission to amplify voices of the marginalized, I was a resident DJ at two Chicago bars, playing exclusively women and non-binary musicians. I donated my services for community-based organizations like the Chicago Period Project as an extension of this mission. In 2022, I created and hosted fundraisers for reproductive health care benefitting the Chicago Abortion Fund. I enjoy sharing music with people while building community and being an integral part of a local, family-owned business's success.I have experience in research and data entry with KMM Consulting, LLC - a local, woman-owned, prominent political fundraising group.Along with teaching English as a second language to adult learners at Loyola University Chicago, I edited and formatted the biannual learner publication for The Learning Center - a free, community service for adults at every stage of English language learning.I also have extensive experience in Chicago's service industry. From high-volume, fast-paced beer tent service at Do Division and West Fest, to hosting and serving at concerts for children in Chicago's small venue bars and restaurants, I have enjoyed interacting with and serving an eclectic array of neighbors.Most recently, my role at Rush University Medical Center has allowed me to draw on my previous experiences to guide, comfort, and connect with my community in their most vulnerable and challenging moments. To ensure every patient & visitor receives the best help possible, I have created & formatted multiple internal and external resources for the Guest Relations Department and Chicago’s South and West side neighborhoods. True to form, I see a need/gap/problem and immediately research and create contacts to provide timely, comprehensive solutions.And finally… I spent 10 years at Trader Joe’s - so you know I love good food, wine, art, people and conversation.
