CMHO represents and supports the providers of child and youth mental health treatment services throughout Ontario. Its core membership consists of more than 85 accredited community-based children’s mental health agencies that serve some 150,000 children and their families annually.Kim is a passionate advocate for change in the children's mental health system because of her personal experiences as the mother of a daughter who became seriously ill. She is responsible for improving the financial and operating capacity of CMHO's member agencies and building awareness and understanding of child and youth mental health across the province.

A family owned company which acquired new, early stage, out-of home advertising ideas, stabilized, grew and sold them to organizations such as Viacom and Pattison. Recruited as Controller and as company evolved to meet the needs of dynamic industry and the family’s involvement decreased, role expanded. Ultimately advanced into Chief Operating Officer role with responsibility for the entire company: sales, operations, marketing, HR and finance. In the final year, Sales grew by 10% in a mature market and EBITDA rose by an impressive 30% to close to $2Million - in an organization undergoing significant change. Led a team of over 200 staff, including up to 10 direct reports.
