Responsible for managing the student systems team including senior business systems analysts, business process automation (BPA) specialists, senior reporting analyst and operations analyst to maintain the university's Student and Academic Management System (SAMS). The team manages day-to-day incident and service management requests. We test and implement system upgrades and custom development solutions to meet the needs of university cohorts and maintain government compliance. Our team also assist with and lead business process improvement projects from across the university student lifecycle.

Senior Business Analyst with Student Systems Operations Team. Work predominantly includes upgrades to new revisions of software and review of system and processes across functional business areas. Prior to this role, I was a Business analyst/lead on a project to upgrade the Student and Academic Management System to the latest version. Activities include assessing the current system, reviewing enhancements delivered and testing to ensure new version is business compliant. Additional tasks include creating a suite of tests that may be used in future upgrade regression testing and coordinating and evaluating user acceptance test outcomes. Further tasks include raising and tracking issues with the software vendor for resolution.

Worked on a student and academic management system project as a trainer to learn the new program and develop materials to assist staff and students. Responsibilities also included testing and assisting with analysis and custom development of eStudent portal for the university.

CEMEX is one of the largest building materials companies in the world, producing ready-mix concrete, quarry aggregates and concrete products. My role was to train staff across Australia in our main computer programme: SAP. I also attended to helpdesk calls with regards to SAP and other computer programmes/processes (including Microsoft Office and intranet editing). A large part of my role was creating training materials and organising training, including administrative duties for the training team. I was also one of the team members involved with the SAP upgrade project in 2007, where I took leadership of testing and training the cartage (or freight) module of the programme. I was also a Personal Assistant to the General Manager of Shared Services from Feb-Oct 2005, before being promoted to the training team, and started working casually (1-2 days/week) in Feb 2006 to study full-time for my degree.

Three month temporary position in a general Accounts Payable role whilst on a working holiday in Ireland. I greatly enjoyed the experience of working with my Irish co-workers and took away some knowledge of the Insurance Broker industry.

Siebel Systems (now Oracle) bought Eontec, who created a retail banking software solution and implemented it in financial institutions in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. This 3 month temporary role was primarily to co-ordinate the software project teams working in various locations. I took away a knowledge of communicating globally across different time zones, compiling report information and spreadsheets, and assisted with visa applications for team members working internationally.

Provided administrative support to the Qld Implementations Group who specialised in telecommunications projects for medium to large business and government clients. The role included testing and training of a new national customer survey database and general office duties for a team of 40.

The OrangeWorld division was setup to share products and to ensure branding was consistent across the many countries that Orange (a mobile telecommunications provider) operated in. My role started as an assistant to the Office Manager (who was also a PA to the HR Director) but was promoted to assist the Communications Manager. In this new role I assisted with several events including the launch of the "World's First Smartphone": the Orange SPV, and was responsible for co-ordinating product displays at these events. Other duties of both roles included liaising with many team members (across international offices), organising RSVPs and travel, updating information portals, providing administrative support, assisting with HR team, and being a relief PA for Vice President of division.

Byvan (now Savills) were a Shopping Centre Management specialist who managed over 100 shopping centres across Australia. I started my career with the company as a Receptionist at Toowong Village, before moving onto Centre Secretary roles at Albany Shopping Village and 141 Queen Street, Brisbane. I was promoted to Administration Manager of Rockhampton Shopping Fair in November 1998 before accepting the Trust Administrator role in Sydney head office in August 2000. I left the company to pursue a working holiday in the UK. My roles included general administrative/office duties and a large function was in Accounts Receivable and Payable. I also assisted with preparing monthly reports, budgets, business plans and forecasting reports. A small part of my role included assisting with the marketing and operations of the centres as well as ensuring lease requirements were met. Whilst I was Administration Manager, I oversaw a small team of administrative and casual staff.
