Duties that I undertook in this role included me going through security applications to determine if they are a new application to be added to the system of a re-in-statement to be re-activated or if the applicant is after upgrading or downgrading their licence. I would also create licences for the new applicants and create and send fingerprint letters for all the new applicants. Collecting and organising criminal history checks involved me updating the applicant's file that a check has come through and to locate their file for the CHAT team to assess and to determine if the applicant is able to have their licence following the Security Act of 1998.

Within this role, I would scan and archive documents as well as file receipts. Sending out emails to customers in regards to backorders and being able to communicate with customers/clients in regards to products, sales and other enquiries. Another tasks that I undertook was updating the price list in the system by adding in new clients and ensuring that the price list was accurate. To ensure that the price list was accurate, I would also look at competitors ensuring that the prices were in a good place compared to the market.

I would assist customers with online services that the Department has available. I would ensure that the services were working and if were unable to work for the customer, follow through their request be it, upload documents, update details or give them a code to access their accounts on myGov. If there were circumstances that I was unable to handle at the SS area, I would escalate this issue to my leadership team and find the best way to assist this customer.

Within this role I do my best to ensure that customers walk out with a smile on their face. I do this by going above and beyond by placing rubber bands around berry packets and bakery items. I also ensure that I am following Workplace Health and Safety to ensure that customers and team members are safe in store. During busy times I try and remain calm and handle the situation as best I can by calling for assistance if needed.

During Industry Project my role within my team was the Business Analyst. My role included gathering requirements, tracking actuals against the requirements, maintaining and updating the sprint backlog and communicating with the client alongside the Project Manager. This project was done in an Agile Management Framework which assisted with any changes that would occur throughout the sprints.

Arriving at different stores, I would implement planograms, update and rotate stock and ensure that new arrivals were on show. I would keep staff updated with any information that they may need to know in regards to stock and communicate to higher management if any issues would arise.
