In 2024 Climate-KIC Australia merged with the Institute for Sustainable Futures. In October 2024, I left Climate-KIC Australia to establish Khoreo, a systemic design studio. At the same time, I was appointed as Visiting Industry/Professional Fellow of UTS, sponsored by Climate-KIC and ISF to continue collaborating towards sustainable futures!

Climate-KIC Australia is a national not-for-profit organisation, with links to Climate-KIC Europe, focused on transformative systems change towards a net-zero emissions, resilient and thriving future. As of 1 January 2024, Climate-KIC Australia became part of the Institute for Sustainable Futures at UTS. C-KIC is now a self-directed team within ISF, working on a range of programs, partnerships and collaborative platforms for climate action.I was responsible for leading projects and portfolios across different strategic focus areas. Past projects include: 1) Collaborating with and advising an Australian University on an urban transformation project towards sustainable and resilient futures.2) Leading a consultation and strategy process for an Australian University to frame a new collaborative climate initiative aimed at scaling climate impact.3) Working in partnership with a multinational company and its stakeholders on framing opportunties for a just transition process in the context of a fair, equitable and net-zero future4) Leading program design of a flagship agriculture and sustainability leadership program in NSW to leverage decarbonisation and co-benefits in agriculture and primary industries.

When in between roles, I keep my passion for learning, creating and collaborating alive as an independent designer. Projects from independent design work over the past two years (mostly), as well as earlier work:– Collaborating on a strategic design and systems innovation project for a University in NSW.– Advising and collaborating with a researcher at the University of Manchester to develop a new education model called the School Citizen Assembly.– Leading a consultation and strategy process for Climate-KIC Australia to frame a new collaborative climate initiative within an Australian University for scaling climate impact– Leading a program co-design project for Bendigo Tech School, called the Renewable Energy Futures program, based on inter-disciplinary, design driven learning – Working with Today Strategic Design Studio, working for private and government clients on strategic and service projects.– Leading a design strategy process for The Smith Family's pilot program modification strategy– Delivering learning design services for Swinburne's Curriculum Accelerator – Designing and facilitating course material for Universities, including UTS's Bachelor of Technology and Innovation, Sydney University and Melbourne Law School– Designing and facilitating design, leadership and systems training for not-for-profit organisations and businesses, such as the Centre for Sustainability Leadership, Climate KIC and the Hub– Collaborating with a big data company to lead and design a climate data platform project for NSW Government, designing a climate service portal for end users– Business model, website and service design services for natural hazard, energy and other startups

I was engaged by Today to support three key projects:- Designing and developing a co-design playbook for capability strategy in a large health organisation- Designing a service blueprint of a new renewable energy service- Co-designing a mental health funding strategy with a Regional Partnership body for improved mental health outcomes in regional Victoria

Strategic designer at The Smith Family, Australia's largest education charity, working in the Insights & Design team on a one year contract. I led two main projects during this time: 1) Leading a program re-design project of a flagship school program, in response to Covid. We ran a design sprint process to develop an MVP and then continued an iterative design process to experiment, learn and modify the pilot program, culminating in executive approval and national roll out of a new online tutoring program.2) Leading a large scale place based design project on behalf of Department of Education (Cth) for families experiencing vulnerability to explore how we might increase participation in early learning.This project included developing our design process plan, facilitating a multifunctional team, leading user research, facilitating online place-based design workshops, prototyping solutions, and testing prototypes for our final report.

Strategic Design | human-centred design at Huddle. Key projects:- A service reform project for the Children's Court of Victoria. Lead designer on a large scale human-centred design led project in the Victorian justice system, led by RMIT and Huddle, in consultation with the Centre for Innovative Justice- Designing service and user journey maps for State Government agencies in Victoria - Facilitating a strategic user experience journey process for the City of Sydney to map, co-create and innovate the governance and decision making process - Leading a product design project for Quitch, an education startup in the higher education sector, aiming to conduct user research and design a future version of the mobile Quitch app

I was engaged to design and deliver several weeks of course work for students in the Bachelor of Industry and Innovation at the Trans-disciplinary School, UTS

I supported EJA to set up its Sustainability Law Lab. This includes creating and running the process of designing the Sustainability Law Lab. I also performed legal counsel and advocacy work on behalf of the Sustainability Law Lab.

I was Peer Academy's first full time employee.Responsible for supporting delivery and testing of peer-peer learning product design for clients, such as Telstra, Victorian Government and Inspire 9; conducting design research of the co-design program evaluation and development; and supporting business development.

Legal counsel at Australia's first B Corp law firm, servicing startups and social enterprises in transactions, corporate governance, business model development and employee and stakeholder legal relationships.

Responsible for recruiting, training and lead youth delegations (18 - 30 years of age) to attend international environment and sustainability forums, such as the UN climate change negotiations

Completed my legal traineeship at Russell Kennedy, one of Victoria’s leading law firms (BRW), where I rotated through every practice group in the law firm
