I am an interdisciplinary designer passionate about the power of systemic innovation, learning and collaboration to shape sustainable and regenerative futures. Our society, organisations and communities face a rare period in human history — we must renew, regenerate and re-make many of our old structures and systems built last century. This systemic challenge requires a great sense of humility, aspiration, courage, creativity, discernment, collaboration, leadership and so much more. My approach is to learn and apply methods appropriate to a given context, situation and intention. My work weaves together many common threads, including: climate and futures, transformation and systems change, design and innovation, complexity and collaboration, and learning and education. At the same time, I was appointed as Visiting Industry/Professional Fellow of UTS, sponsored by Climate-KIC and ISF to continue collaborating towards sustainable futures!

As of 1 January 2024, Climate-KIC Australia became part of the Institute for Sustainable Futures at UTS. C-KIC is now a self-directed team within ISF, working on a range of programs, partnerships and collaborative platforms for climate action.I was responsible for leading projects and portfolios across different strategic focus areas. I led two main projects during this time: 1) Leading a program re-design project of a flagship school program, in response to Covid. We ran a design sprint process to develop an MVP and then continued an iterative design process to experiment, learn and modify the pilot program, culminating in executive approval and national roll out of a new online tutoring program.2) Leading a large scale place based design project on behalf of Department of Education (Cth) for families experiencing vulnerability to explore how we might increase participation in early learning.This project included developing our design process plan, facilitating a multifunctional team, leading user research, facilitating online place-based design workshops, prototyping solutions, and testing prototypes for our final report.
