In addition to serving as a judge for the National organization's Gracie Awards Show, I serve on the local affiliate Board of Directors for Alliance for Women in Media SoCal handling press and community outreach. This includes directing Publicity & Celebrity Red Carpet events for the Genii Awards Show which celebrates programming for, by and about women.The Genii Awards is AWM SoCal's pinnacle event to recognize the accomplishments of women trailblazers in the industry. Some notable past winners include Betty White, Ellen DeGeneres, Whoopi Goldberg, Julie Andrews, and Lucille Ball, to name a few.Other duties entail creating awareness for the nonprofit organization's educational scholarship fund to help further women in media; career development & industry networking events and the organization's charitable activities that give back to the community.

Served a two-year term on the Southern California Chapter Board of Directors for AWRT, a national non-profit organization serving over 3,000 members nationwide. AWRT carries forth its mission by educating, advocating, and acting as a resource to its members and the industry at large.Founded in 1951, AWRT works to improve the quality of electronic media; promote the entry, development, and advancement of women in the field; foster communication and idea exchange; and give back to the community we serve.Won the prestigious BELL Award for "Bringing Excellence to the Local Level"​ at the 2010 American Women in Radio & Television Women's Media Forum in Washington, DC. The AWRT National Area Management Committee selected the winners.

Public Relations and Marketing for Film Independent's Spirit Awards and the Los Angeles Film Festival; plus year-round educational programs; filmmaker talent development labs for directors, producers and screenwriters; along with promotion for Project:Involve, a filmmaker diversity program.

In charge of advertising, public relations, special events, trade shows, sponsorships & promotions, shuttle service, and group sales.Developed new revenue sources including Behind-the-Scenes tours, recycling programs, special events and fundraiser auction.Won the 2006 Gold ADDY award from the Advertising Federation for the creative campaign, "Now Playing."

In charge of corporate identity, advertising, public relations, special events, retail, group sales, facility rentals, and trade shows. Won two national PR awards (Silver Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America and the CIPRA Award for creativity in PR) for creating awareness for Keiko, star of Free Willy, and his rehabilitation program at the Aquarium. Directed over 450 members of the press that arrived from around the world to cover Keiko's move to Iceland and his eventual release into the wild. Achieved the highest attendance to-date for the Oregon Coast Aquarium: 1.3 million visitors.Promoted annual conservation education programs.
