My interest in protecting public health and the environment has inspired over a decade of research. Through public education and engagement, I strive to increase awareness on pressing issues so that future generations can flourish.Public Health: My focus is potential health impacts from exposure to toxic chemicals. I have extensive experience compiling research on hormone-disrupting chemicals in the environment and consumer products.Communication and Outreach: I translate technical research to a non-technical audience using multiple platforms to ensure a broad reach, including databases, social media, podcasts and webinars, presentations, and publications.Ecosystem Health: I put my degree in Soil and Crop Sciences to work studying natural resources (native plants and forest health) and sustainable agriculture. My formal research on organic soil fertility and cropping systems was augmented by experience from several years living on a family-owned organic farm.
