I am currently based in the Richmond VA area and am actively seeking a new opportunity following my time at NAPA. A position that is more people and/or data oriented than NAPA would be a much better fit with my interests and skill set. Lifting and high volume/short time tasks do not fit either.I can offer your organization flexibility, organization, reliability, a solid work ethic, computer skills which are diverse and easily expanded, a genuine desire to help people, a history of community involvement, and a team-player attitude. I am a “detail person” with experience in starting projects from scratch and with travel planning, both individual and group. I am willing to travel if need be.I have received many compliments from customers on my product knowledge and ability to answer their questions in a manner which they can easily understand. I am also the "go to" person for other associates when they cannot answer a customer's questions.Currently, I am involved in a variety of activities with the Old Dominion Chapter – National Railway Historical Society. These include processing memberships as they are received and renewed, processing ticket sales for rail excursions, guiding tours of and working in the gift shop at the museum, and editing the newsletter. Previously, I was a member of the board of directors and was in charge of setting the advertising budget and developing advertising documents for our excursions. Although I have no experience in railroading outside ODC activities, I am very interested in pursuing a new career in that field.I am eager to contribute effective people skills and leadership talents to an organization that makes a difference in the community and actively seek the opportunity to do so with a new organization.
