Projects:• Rogers Utility Upgrade.• Rogers Fire Alarm Upgrade.Duties and experience:• Consulting with different stakeholders including the client representatives and sub-trades.• Leading daily work-progress and safety meetings.• Submitting daily progress reports to the Project Manager.• Submitting weekly progress reports to the Project Manager and to the client representatives.• Coordinating the procedure of preparing and submitting Methods of Procedures.• Escalating any significant issues related to scope of work, quality, or schedule.• Enforcing good construction standards supported by a firm quality-control procedure. • Monitoring and controlling the project schedule.• Maintaining on-site updated drawings, samples, and all other construction-related documents.• Creating a list of deficiencies, assigning them to the responsible parties and assuring the corrections are properly performed.• Preparing Red-Line Mark-ups in order to prepare the As-Builts drawings.• Planning the construction site lay-out, monitoring and controlling the on-site circulation.• Ensuring a safe workplace, identifying construction zone, and posting all necessary signage.• Generating a log of safety actions, inspections, and meetings for review by stakeholders.• Conducting regular on-site inspections.• Performing regular Fire-Watch site walks when the fire alarm system is bypassed.

Project: le Nouveau CHUMConstruction Santé Montréal (CSM) is a joint venture that was created by the two parent companies Laing O’Rourke (LOR), and Obrascon Huarte Lain (OHL), to be the construction management company responsible of designing, building and delivering the new Centre Hospitalier de l'Universitaire de Montréal (CHUM). The new CHUM project is a PPP, fast-track project that was designed to meet a LEED silver rating with an estimated cost of 1.98 billion dollars.Responsibilities: Eighth floor / block DDuties and experience:• Coordinating, scheduling, monitoring and controlling the activities of all subcontractors.• Managing the procedure of issuing change orders, and following their impact on site.• Monitoring and controlling the cost, and approving the progress reports of the subcontractors.• Organizing and attending meetings with CSM management, commercial and planning department.• Reporting on-site status to the senior management on regular basis.• Managing the Request-For-Information procedure.• Developing a plan for inspecting deficiencies and performing the inspection.• Supervising the repair works of snags and deficiencies carried out by the subcontractors.• Managing the delivery, on-site distribution, fixation and assembly of the medical / nonmedical equipment and furniture of the 8th, 9th, and 10th floor in block D.• Coordinating with the guarding company to maintain the security of the finished area.• Making sure that safety measures are always maintained on site.
