I am an actuarial intern at Korn Ferry, a leading global consulting firm, assisting senior actuarial consultants with bid reviews for CMS l. I have passed the P and FM exams of the Society of Actuaries, and I am proficient in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and other analytical tools.I graduated magna cum laude from Central Washington University with a BS in Actuarial Science in June 2021. I have always been passionate about math and problem-solving, and I enjoy applying my skills to real-world challenges and opportunities. I have demonstrated my ability to deliver work under time pressure, while working in both a team environment and individually, maintaining flexibility and adaptability. I have also exemplified excellence in attention to detail and organization, and documented and explained complex factual information in precise and concise written form.One of the best parts of being an actuarial intern is being able to collaborate and learn from others. I have worked with senior actuarial consultants, and analysts on various projects, such as analyzing data, developing models, and presenting findings and recommendations. I have also contributed to the improvement of the firm's processes and methodologies, by providing feedback and suggestions. I have learned how to approach and solve problems with initiative and sound judgment, and how to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and stakeholders.My goal is to become a fully qualified actuary and a trusted advisor to clients across different industries and sectors. I am eager to continue developing my technical and professional skills, and to explore new areas of actuarial practice and innovation. I am also motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on society and the environment, by helping clients manage their risks and opportunities in a sustainable and ethical way.
