My role as Implementation Consultant involves me providing consultation for and implementation of bespoke mobile workforce solutions. Whilst reporting to a dedicated Project Manager, I am expected to engage clients and maintain the relationship with them. During the project lifecycle I elicit requirements, provide detailed time estimates for the project plan, design and implement the desired functionality and finally guide the client through the final phases. During the final phases I visit the client to take them through their User Acceptance Testing to ensure the product meets their requirements. Once this has been completed I then provide them with detailed user training before attending the client site to provide support on their go-live date. Once a client has gone live I provide 3rd Line Support whilst they bed in, at which point our support services take over.During the consultation process I am required to ensure that the desire business process and planned software are a good match. If there are any issues with the planned integration then I provide detailed reasons for the issues and offer solutions to overcome the situation. This requires a good working knowledge of the client's business process as well as the confidence to offer the necessary advice to achieve a suitable outcome.

RBS is a worldwide investment bank. I was based in London, working a large business orientated team including working with resources in India. The project captured Agreement data for risk monitoring (e.g. Moody's credit ratings). Built using Silverlight, WCF and NHibernate, it improved efficiency and provided accurate data to other downstream systems. We used JIRA to track issues and I helped moved from a Waterfall to Agile way of development.
