I am the evening news anchor for WTVY in Dothan, Alabama. I anchor the prime time newscasts Monday through Friday each week. Join me at 5, 6, & 10I have been apart of the Hometown News Leader team since June of 2020. I grew up on the east side of Tuscaloosa County. I graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s degree in News Media and Communication Studies in May of 2020. I also earned my Associate in Arts degree from Shelton State in 2018. I packed my bags and moved to Dothan my heart filled with a passion for journalism. I started as an MMJ where after a year and a half, worked my way up to weekend anchor. I quickly moved up to become the morning anchor in 2022 and a little over a year later earned my spot to be at the helm as evening anchor.I love story telling and informing my community. I am able to tell hard news and what’s happening right now each day.I also have a heart for the good news. That is why I launched a segment called Wiregrass Gives Back. This is a monthly installment highlighting nonprofits and organizations in the Southeast who are on a mission to help those in need.
