I am a senior pursuing a BS in Computer Science at the University of Washington, with a deep passion for computer graphics, high-performance computing, and infrastructure. Currently, I'm interning as a Software Engineer at Visual Concepts, where I'm working on cutting-edge mesh optimization techniques. My projects include compressing NPC 3D models using custom vector compression and quantization algorithms, as well as architecting GPU kernel code with CUDA, OpenGL, and C++ to build fast and compact bounding volume hierarchies for ray tracing through customized tristripping algorithms.Last winter 2023, I interned at Yoomi Health, where I developed a custom TypeScript visualization library for company-wide products & integrated & optimized a YOLOv5-based real-time body-pose tracing feature. In the summer of 2023, I interned at Rocket Companies, where I engineered a full-stack coaching hour tracker. Beyond my internships, I'm actively involved in tech-focused clubs on campus. As part of SWECC, I'm contributing to developing a mock interview platform for members and organizing workshops to advance SWE careers for UW students. In the Algorithmic Trading Club, I lead an infrastructure team that enables members to execute trades effectively.I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge and experiences in the tech industry through my blog at https://www.kipiiler.me. There, I write about various topics including computer graphics, high-performance computing, infrastructure, and my journey in computer science at UW. My goal is to provide insights and learning resources for fellow students and tech enthusiasts.I'm seeking SWE internship & new grad opportunities for 2025 to further expand my experience in building scalable and impactful software solutions.
