I returned to CIRA to complete my fourth and final co-op term. As marketing coordinator, a variety of my day-to-day tasks supported multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to generate leads and revenue for B2C (i.e. prospective .CA domain) customers. As marketing coordinator, a variety of my day-to-day tasks supported multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to generate leads and revenue for B2C (i.e. prospective .CA domain) customers. These tasks included content marketing, web page design, blog posts, YouTube SEO and social media. In celebration of Canada Day and Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day, I managed two Instagram social media contests with the objective of increasing CIRA’s social following and reach. While managing a budget of $4,000, I was responsible for purchasing items for the prize boxes and creating social posts/ads on Facebook and Instagram. The Canada Day giveaway resulted in over 700 entries and an increase of 900 followers. For Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day, this contest resulted in 50 entries and an increase of 50 followers as the contest was only run in Quebec.Another large project that I completed over my term was the creation of three separate e-books that were generated as lead content for campaign landing pages. The e-books targeted three target audiences, including aspiring entrepreneurs, web builders and hobbyists. The objective was to create insightful e-books for each audience, and include how .CA domains would be great for them.
