My role is to lead towards sustainable maintenance culture. I've played an important role in devising the maintenance strategy inline to world class maintenance (TPM). I conduct training session on maintenance best practices like use of Early equipment management for new projects, review of SAP data for trending and reporting equipment reliability (MTTR, MTBF etc.), defining equipment criticality, use of lean tools such as 5-Why, Ishikawa, PPS, Pareto Analysis and Visual Management. I'm also a key lead in developing maintenance DCM (Daily control meeting structure) for entire engineering function to work, plan and control all activities. The structure has been recognized as best practice in the AsiaPac region. As a site Lean lead, I'm accountable for driving lean maturity uplift programme with key focus on Lean leadership, AZ Values & Behaviours Model, Visual Management and Problem solving. I’ve established a lean strategy inline to global framework (Operations 2020 ambition) and driving the initiatives through cross functional engagement. I’m successful in laying out the strategy and influencing site leadership team to consider some of the key potential lean initiatives. I’m now currently working on bringing the strategy into BAU and ensure engagement from all levels.

During this tenure my role was to work towards implementing of computerized based maintenance – SAP, to perform planned and unplanned activities. The project was formed to build end to end maintenance process – PM, Calibration & Inventory Management. My focus was to understand the current maintenance practice whilst coordinating with all levels of people in engineering and build a process within SAP which is easy to operate and that fulfills to meet pharmaceutical audit requirements. The site maintenance maturity level was significantly improved and the entire team endorsed the change and benefits. A news letter was been published in AZ Global Engineering on successful completion of this significant milestone

I worked as a lead for operation and maintenance of HVAC & Utilities systems. My role was to support and guide the technicians in planning and execution of maintenance activities thereby ensuring the customer are delivered with right services. During this tenure I also lead a project titled Installation of Dust collection system for Boiler with an objective to reduce the emission level less that 150mg/Nm3. The site was starting to build a new tablet production facility while it was significantly important to continue to deliver the requirement from all our production sections(Tablets, Parentrals, Liquids, Jelly and API and I was able to single highhandedly manage the entire section of engineering services with thorough planning, problem solving and engagement with the customers.
