Services is the professional services arm of Mastercard, where Advisors & Consulting Services ANZ provides management consulting, business/product strategy and business transformation solutions to banking and retail clients across Australia and New Zealand.

The Consumer Finance Line of Business is accountable for the end-to-end management of credit card and personal loan products for Westpac, St George, and regional retail brands. I served as the strategic interface with the business performance, product, and customer experience teams for the purpose of tech strategy development, solution discovery and relationship management.• Developed solution concepts/business plans for new investments by performing business/data analysis• Collaborated with tech architecture to ensure solution compatibility with enterprise standards• Planned, prioritised and led launch of solutions by managing multiple delivery/software dev teams• Developed roadmaps/blueprints to steer technology investments in alignment with business priorities• Screened and evaluated new solution opportunities to pro-actively address unmet customer needs • Presented findings in the form of high-quality presentations to senior leaders and stakeholders

Provided strategy and planning services for the Chief Technology Office and to the broader technology group.[1] Assisted with the refresh of annual technology strategy and performed market/competitor analyses to inform the formulation of other supporting strategies. [2] Authored 2 discovery papers on emerging tech topics of ‘Ambient Intelligence’ and ‘Ethical IT’ — by conceptualising relevant research data into comprehensive insights. [3] Co-ordinated technology inputs for enterprise-wide planning and prioritisation processes. Facilitated 9 workshops to review 100+ initiatives and synthesised findings into quantitative/qualitative insights for executive decision-making.[4] Developed 2 execution roadmaps for Credit Risk and Financial Crime domains by sourcing/curating: business strategy, technology applications and initiatives data. Responsible for the compilation of 8 roadmaps as part of a response work for APRA [Australian Prudential Regulation Authority]. [5] Organised, on behalf of the Strategy and Architecture division, Westpac Group Technology's first virtual annual summit. Hosted the highest number of internal keynote topics and external speaker sessions to date.

Designed business solutions to complex problems that are strategic, re-usable and value adding; to enable the successful delivery of key customer, business, risk, and technology priorities across the enterprise. Key Highlights - [1] Channel Connectivity Future State Definition - Formulation of an enterprise omni-channel strategic vision. Performed market/best practice research and also reviewed internal Branch, Digital and Virtual strategies.[2] Core Banking Transformation – Embedded into the Business Architecture stream; which was accountable for the design of business and technology target operating models. Led the Metrics & Reporting and Organisational Design program streams for over 3 months. Also co-wrote an investment options assessment for 10 key priority areas aligned to RAMS strategy and vision. [3] Credit Card Simplification – Supported the identification, analysis and prioritisation of 5 new investment opportunities for Westpac and St George credit cards business.[4] Risk Controls Review – Led the analysis of 80+ risk controls mitigating 70+ risks and satisfying 200+ obligations across ~30 mortgages processes. Presented the findings/information in a coherent, visual format and co-wrote 2 Board/Executive Committee papers to summarise work completed and playback conclusions.[5] Operating Model Design – Designed a target state governance structure which proposed to aggregate from 10+ to 5 forums to: enable optimal efficiency, establish standardised governance practices and support the demonstration of BEAR (Banking Executive Accountability Regime) to better manage financial/non-financial risks alongside customer and strategic outcomes.

Selected as one of 110 from 7,000 applicants to take part in Westpac Group’s Graduate Program. My graduate rotations were across 3 different teams within the Group Technology business unit: software development for a Wealth management system, engagement management for the Analytics division and business consulting for Consumer Banking. Gained diverse experience across — software development lifecycle, data analysis/visualisation, project/portfolio management, business consulting and strategy.I played multiple roles in The Youth Network (Employee Action Group) within the Community, Professional Development and Innovation streams. Beginning as a member, progressed to holding various leadership roles. I sharpened event management, marketing and practice development skills. I was also a mentor for university students within UNSW's Women in Tech and University of Sydney's Job Smart mentoring programs.

Tutor for Tableau visualisation design, data analysis/collation and persona creation across the following subjects in the School of Business, Information Systems Discipline - ‘INFS3050 Business Intelligence for Managers’ & ‘INFS6018 Managing Business Intelligence’.

Analysed Business Partner Survey results (in which business units provide feedback on how HSBC Technology and Services is performing across a range of areas), conducted User Acceptance Testing for a web application and designed Excel surveys for the Retail Business and Wealth Management business unit. I developed experience in business/data analysis, user acceptance testing, Excel macros, team/stakeholder management, facilitating meetings and presentation skills.

Part of a research project which aimed to develop use cases and analyse opportunities for co-operative organisations to leverage data analysis/visual analytics capabilities. Major contributions were designing data visualisations on Tableau 8.2, liaising with academics and co-operatives representatives and presenting work completed at a Co-Operatives Conference held at The University of Sydney.
