My background in Digital Marketing (Martech), Content Strategy/Management, Communications, Product/Service Development, and Publishing spans over a decade and begins in part with a leadership role as Features Editor and Columnist for a University print publication circulated to thousands of readers. From there, I created an online (and special edition print) publication, and in running my publication I became well-versed in digital/desktop publishing, web design and maintenance, content marketing, and social media marketing. This role also involved managing a team of writers, photographers, and graphic designers. Some of my most recent experience involves developing educational material, writing assessments and ancillaries, editing content including modules and chapters for textbooks and courses, and content development and management using various Learning Management Systems for a large publishing company (ed-tech). Throughout all of my experience, I’ve also built and maintained an extensive freelance portfolio. To date, I have edited multiple published books, authored one non-fiction book, and developed products/services, resources, marketing/sales material, and various forms of content and communications for businesses across various industries. As a result of my work, I've had the opportunity to host workshops and trainings, participate in panels, and serve as speaker for several events.
