The Executive Team managed a $28 million budget and and 40+ team members.Involved with successful operational cost optimization initiative which reduced operating budget from $36 million to $28 million, through identification of VIK (value in kind), and implementation of community volunteer programs such as the "Host Town Program." Procured VIK site drawings, saving in excess of $80K; recruited / trained over 1000 host families as "Family Ambassadors," saved $500K for GOC and provided motivated volunteer participation (5000+) for the 2009 games.Spearheaded most successful Special Olympics Winter Games in history, based on athlete experience and financial metrics; realized / employed procedural change to secure trained SOI employees for event in coordination with volunteers, and reduced labor from 120 to 60 staff members and volunteers.

As part of an executive team successfully planned and implemented Special Olympics International's growth entry into China through a series of exclusive events in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen focused around the visit of Arnold Schwarzenegger; raised $1 million US for Special Olympics China, and resulted in meetings with Chinese officials including, President Jiang Zemin. Diplomatic and innovative marketing expert, successfully facilitated Chinese government bid to host the 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games; Special Olympics China remains the largest program within the organization, promoting positive policy change for individuals with intellectual disability throughout the country.
