This position oversees the administration and enhancement of UPS’s global Human Resources (HR) Systems (e.g., Employee and Manager HR Self-Service Portal, Learning Management System, Performance Management System, etc.) and vendor interfaces to support quality HR functions and enable effective global business decisions across the organization (e.g., inclusive of other business units, international, HR, etc.). This position collaborates extensively with internal customers and consults as a global business partner regarding HR Systems Application Support. This position develops strategies to streamline and centralize HR Systems Support services and ensures existing HR systems are fully leveraged. This position interacts with and provides vision to stakeholders throughout the enterprise and influences the enhancement of HR systems that are flexible and can accommodate future business changes. This position serves as a liaison between HR and other groups to integrate strategies. RESPONSIBILITIES• Directs the development of business and technical requirements to enhance HR systems including testing of the requirements.• Evaluates existing HR systems and workflow processes to provide technical advice and recommendations leading to improvement changes.• Manages ongoing maintenance (e.g., releases, upgrades, HelpDesk Cases, etc.) of current HR systems to ensure optimal system performance.• Maintains knowledge of vendor capabilities to work with other groups in the identification and selection of strategic vendor partners.• Oversees foundation table maintenance, system configuration, data integrations for various HR applications.• Directs security and internal/external systems audits and ensures system access meets compliance.• Manages resources and people processes (e.g., Performance Management, Career Development, Training, Staffing, etc.) to ensure the day to day administration of processes and formal procedures.
