Lead member of a small analyst/scientist team in a hybrid role as a GIS developer, data manager, and wildfire program technology lead. Provided senior-level GIS consultation, analysis, application development, data management, and project support services to the WA DNR Wildfire Division.- Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining various authoritative geospatial web applications including the Wildfire Intel Dashboard which presents users with wildfire statuses, statistics, and other API-based information;- Developed, implemented, and maintained a remote sensing-based machine learning model and ETL pipeline for ingesting parcel data, predicting fire protection status, transforming data structures, and loading the data into ArcSDE. This process uses image classification via two different ConvNets created using transfer learning and the Pytorch machine learning library.
