CurrentPromote the use of UNITY to OBGYN and Maternal Fetal Medicine practices in Maryland. UNITY is the first and only non-invasive prenatal test that can provide a fetal risk assessment for ACOG recommended recessive genetic disorders, including alpha-thalassemia, beta-thalassemia, sickle cell disease, cystic fibrosis and spinal muscular atrophy. This is done from just the mother’s blood, no paternal testing needed.• Work in a cross-functional collaboration with Leadership, Sales Operations, Medical Science Liaisons, Genetic Counselors, Patient Billing, Patient Access Programs, Client Services, EMR Integration Team, Client Services, Logistics, Marketing, Training, and the Lab.• Mastered the offerings and processes of BillionToOne’s genetic tests and services to help patients and ethically drive demand. • Understand competition to be able to differentiate UNITY and how it can uniquely benefit patients.• Developed territory from the ground up using specific strategies based on the business model/IDN structure of each account in a crowded, complicated and competitive marketplace. • Increased the number of UNITY kits received for 9 of 10 quarters. Grew the number of tests in Maryland from nearly 0 to almost 800 tests per quarter in 2.5 years.• Integrated UNITY into over 60 practices, including MFM groups at large health systems such as Johns Hopkins, University of Maryland, MedStar, Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Ascension, Sinai, and Mercy. • Coordinate cord blood collection and banking for babies identified as being at high risk for sickle cell disease, to enable future gene therapy treatments utilizing a patient’s own stem cells.• Negotiated hospital lab draw agreements with Meritus Medical Laboratory in Hagerstown, MD and University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, MD to provide a phlebotomy solution for multiple practices.
