I provide oversight for STCU enterprise applications, network services, and support escalations that are fundamental to the operation of the credit union. I also provide leadership[ in the planning and deployment of existing system maintenance and projects.

IGT is the industry leader in the manufacture of electronic gaming machines for the casino gaming industry. As Quality Assurance Manager in their casino systems software division, I am responsible for testing software that controls\manages the network communications between the gaming floor and the back-of-the-house casino systems. Additionally, I oversee testing of the electronic bonusing products, player tracking hardware devices, and customized player tracking end-user content. In this position, I have gained in-depth knowledge of all aspects of casino operations including patron management, cage and machine accounting, table games operations, and ticketing systems. My other responsibilities include management of our Las Vegas systems testing labs, VMware and Virtual Cloud Director infrastructure, peripheral and server acquisition, people management, and working cross-functionally to improve our software development lifecycle processes.

Oversee all QA operations for team of software development QA professionals. The team is responsible for shipping a customized development environment and tools for creating mobile phones and personal devices based on the Windows CE Embedded operating system. Also responsible for product documenation team.

As a device quality manager, my job was to oversee QA processes, and assess final product quality prior to release. Daily duties included managing\testing\distributing new software builds from the device manufacturer, device testing, filing and tracking bugs, and working with the engineering team on product devlopment issues.

During my tenure at Microsoft, I worked the first nine years in corporate IT. I started as a programmer for interactive voice response units, moved to group responsible for incubating new technologies where I worked on unified messaging products. From there, I moved into a web developer position. I managed a team of hardware testers and web\tool developers, and finally did some program management.During my last six years, I managed several test teams responsible for testing core platform components used on the www.microsoft.com sites. My teams were responsible for testing end-to-end applications build with .NET technologies. My duties as Test Manager were overall strategy for the department, personnel management, budgeting, technical decision making and new technologies research. I also was resonsible for managing our Visual Studio Team Foundation Server installation used by the entire product group.

Initially trained as a navigator, I received my specialty in electronic warefare. As a crewmember on the B-52 bomber, my job was to operate all defensive systems of the aircraft including electronic threat detection, radar jamming equipment, and expendable decoy gear. As an Electronic Warefare Officer, I was required to gain in-depth knowledge in enemy anti-aircraft weapons, and was responsible for handling classified materials.While in the Air Force, I achieved the rank of Captain, graduated from land and water survival courses, participated in public relations during air shows, and was deployed to several joint services training exercises in various countries.
