Facilitating S.E.L.F camps for young girls that address worth and esteem in challenging and tough environments, as well as holding space for challenging and encouraging everyone at camp to build connections with each other without the presence of technology. Previously assisted in facilitating training, currently leading training sessions in corporate environments such as Rolls Royce, delivering discussion and sessions around autonomous development for those in their early career stages. Delivering learning on high level cognitive developmental concepts such as: metacognition; cross lateral thinking and values driven behavior models for emotional intelligence development.

Initial project: Collaboration on a project around safeguarding children and young people throughout their campaigning journeys. Created a resource and support for children and young people, informed by young people and professionals in a number of different roles (internationally) within campaigning to help start conversations, utilise best practice examples that already exist and create new ways of supporting young campaigners. This included in person support and digital support and working and responding in trauma informed ways.Development:Piloting the co-created safeguarding policy for survivors of sexual violence that are campaigning within this sphere in an international context. Leading trauma regulation and processing training for employees in donor organisations working on application processes for grantees. Utilising monitoring and evaluation processing tools to develop and update participatory working and piloting methods.

I will be leading and developing a research project focusing on children, young people and young adults transitions from service use to paid roles within the field of sexual violence/child exploitation in particular. Producing written and possibly audio outcomes of this research via a formal briefing; blog posts (which will be co-written with my colleague who is also a current member of the Young Researchers Advisory Panel at the Safer Young Lives Research Centre) and possibly a podcast to accompany this work. Strong proficiency in Nvivo and employing participatory research methods.

Donor, funder scoping; CRM database (UK and USA) usage; draft fundraising applications; fundraising foresight and planning; advocate for Nurture Network and individual sponsorship; liaising between different partners and stakeholders; networking and connecting with local and international leads; creating local partnerships; co-organising fundraising efforts i.e. silent auctions; translating documents from Spanish to English and English to Spanish; preparing sponsor communications from children to donors.

During this time I had employed a cross-sectoral and multi-sectoral approach to tackling exploitation by collaborating and bringing together professionals from local authorities, local partnerships, mental health, education (both higher education and statutory), health (in many of its strands), and even local businesses i.e. hotels, gyms, clubs, bars etc. Furthermore, I worked and will always continually work to prioritise children and young people's voices and place in strategic, operational and organisational development planning and decision making.Working to sustain peer led projects and encourage sustained ways of working with/centering young people in work that affects them i.e mental health, political and exploitation services.Currently working with: NGO's, local authorities, INGO's and local charitable sector organisations to assist in developing relationships with young people, creation of effective resources and system changes to service(s) provided.

Working with a brilliant group of young people (YRAP) who are young research advisors based at UOB within the Safer Young Lives Research Centre (SYLRC) formally known as the International Centre.My responsibilities include: Leading on a research project around the Transitions from service user to service provider in exploitation and sexual violence services. Managing an intern working on this research project. Undertaking contractual and admin project tasks such as; recruitment; supervisions; line management; etc. Facilitating consultations between external and internal partners where YRAP members consult on research; project work; operational service use etc. and assist with YRAP training and development.

Working with a brilliant group of young people (YRAP) who are young research advisors based at UOB within the Safer Young Lives Research Centre (SYLRC) formally known as the International Centre.Undertaking different types of research methods and assisting the young people to undertake their own research project(s).Facilitating a consultancy relationship with internal and external staff members where the young people lend their expertise to improve, challenge and change resources, research and services for other young people.

Working as a research assistant on the CCTC study (Care Leavers, Covid-19 and the transitions from care). During this role I had interviewed personal advisors in a number of different local authorities, coded and analysed data, contributed to overall report writing, co-written and produced a condensed report for young people and the general public with the studies findings.

Assisting with ongoing tasks and evaluation on the national TCE project which has been commissioned by DoE. The Tackling Child Exploitation project consortium consists of Research in Practice, The Children's Society and the University of Bedfordshire and focuses on three specific strands of work. The bespoke project delivery, Microsite and the evaluation of the learning. My roles sits within the Children and Young people's voices section which focuses on implementing their voices in either strategic, operational or other structural ways.Contributing to Action Learning Set meetings around children and young people's voice and representation within the sector.

Recruiting and undertaking university students to participate in multiple focus groups around experiences of sexual consent during university.

Within this role I had the opportunity and huge privilege to work with some amazing young people who attend the refugee forum. The ages ranged from 11/12 year olds up until 25. I met many people from many different backgrounds, countries, cultures, ethnicities and religions and assisted them with their English learning and lessons. Both conversational and structured English classes. Within these classes their would be a focus for the session and tasks set for them to complete, plus some material for them to take away as extra learning. I worked both 2018 and 2019's Navigate Summer school where young people came for daily sessions for one week. During this week I asssited the English teacher and students of the forum with the delivery of tasks such as; completion of written and verbal tasks, completion of English language resources, the planning, filming, editing and creation of the final piece of work which was a video. Lastly, supporting the young people within the forum to present this video to the rest of the groups.I have also worked for the forum during the accademic year of 2018-2019. Where I continued to support the students learning English.

Supporting the young people to fundraise and think innovatively about what local organisations their fundraising could assist.Encouraging young people to peer support and envision how they could volunteer their time to benefit local charities or oganisations in need.Assist young people to prepare for a one or two week residential, packing etc. and preparing them for the muddy and challenging week(s) ahead.Within this timeframe I has worked on four NCS programmes with Nottingham Forest Football in the Community and Nottingham County football clubs for summer and autumn residentials.
